Hong Kong, 9 June 2022 – Amid the increasing trend of digitalisation in healthcare as accelerated by the pandemic, Quality HealthCare Medical Services Limited (QHMS) today announced the launch of DigiHealth Point to better meet the evolving healthcare needs of customers. Following its recent brand evolution and the opening of its first-ever Smart Clinic practising the new future of healthcare, DigiHealth Point is a digital healthcare hub which centralises the company’s remote healthcare services, demonstrating QHMS’ commitment to going beyond the traditional practice of healthcare by providing innovative and comprehensive online-to-offline healthcare solutions. In addition to virtual consultation and drug delivery, DigiHealth Point also focuses on remote chronic disease management which aims at optimising the "Prediction, Prevention and Treatment" approach for the benefit of customers.

Virtual consultation to improve community’s primary healthcare system

QHMS’ virtual consultation service covers general practice, speciality services, traditional Chinese medicine service, mental health, dietetics and selected dental service. Customers can make appointments easily through the QHMS mobile app. Located at The Quayside in Kowloon East, DigiHealth Point is hub to smart healthcare solutions that enable people-centric care with the implementation of technology. The healthcare experience is managed by a group of dedicated personnel, including registered doctors and technology specialists. A central pharmacy is also set up at DigiHealth Point to support one-stop delivery of prescribed medications, sick leave certificates and referral letters. DigiHealth Point enhances the primary healthcare system in the community by offering a one-stop, seamless and accessible online-to-offline healthcare experience to customers.

Using personal digital health records and telehealth to solidify long-term customer care

QHMS believes healthcare is not limited to treating people who are sick. Prediction and prevention of illnesses also plays an indispensable role in promoting long-term wellbeing. As such, DigiHealth Point features a chronic disease care team to be a trusted long-term healthcare partner for patients or high-risk individuals. With personalised digital health record on the QHMS mobile app, users can browse their health check-up reports, check various health indicators analysis including Body Mass Index (BMI) and the three highs (hypertension,  hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia), as well as assessing risk of cardiovascular diseases with digital tools comparing users’ health data with World Health Organisation (WHO) benchmarks. In addition, QHMS has paired up the app with monitoring tools such as sleep ring, body fat & hydration scale and blood pressure meter to help users monitor their health data regularly, enabling better understanding of health status and trends. The chronic disease care team also provides health advice, medication reminders and virtual follow-up consultations to high-risk individuals, enabling users to manage chronic diseases and health risks more conveniently.

“DigiHealth Point redefines remote healthcare solutions and provides a centralised location to manage our smart-healthcare services. From basic virtual consultations to health risk management and recovery services, we ensure that each step along the healthcare journey is taken from customers’ perspective, empowering them to take control of their personal health for long-term management.
