Frozen Shoulder | What is Frozen Shoulder?
Frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis, is a medical condition characterized by stiffness and pain in your shoulder joint. It is a condition that occurs as a result of inflammation (soreness and swelling) around your shoulder joint and its surrounding capsule. It can develop gradually over time with increasing pain. The shoulder joint turns out to be very difficult to move.
You will go through three stages if you have a frozen shoulder:
Freezing stage:
You will develop more and more pain, to an extent that the range of motions is limited.
Frozen stage:
Painful symptoms may subside, but stiffness remains. Your daily activities become very difficult.
Thawing stage:
Shoulder motion slowly improves.
